ASUS has announced its new Intel Z690 series of motherboards. The new lineup includes models under the company’s ROG (Republic of Gamers), TUF Gaming, Prime, and ProArt brands.
Some of the features that ASUS has included in the new boards may include DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 support for Intel 12th generation Intel Core processors, the company’s new ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile overclocking technology, onboard PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots, Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 6E, Quick Charge 4+, and more. Some models also come with the company’s AniMe Matrix display that features mini programmable RGB LEDs that users can customize with lighting designs, animations, and audio visualization.
All of the new motherboards also come with built-in Windows 11 support as well as mounting holes to accommodate both LGA 1200 or the new LGA 1700 socket CPU coolers.
