Zenless Zone Zero, the new upcoming title from Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail developer and publisher HoYoverse, will be coming to the PlayStation 5. The company made the announcement during the recent PlayStation State of Play livestream where it showed off a new trailer.
The new trailer features several of the game’s characters, particularly members of the game’s Cunning Hares and Belobog Heavy Industires. It also showed off the game’s New Eridu area, the “Hollows” region, and the Hollow Deep Dive System.
Zenless Zone Zero is an urban fantasy action RPG that leans heavily on its unique art style, music, and combat. Here is a summary of the game’s setting:
“Contemporary civilization has been destroyed by a supernatural disaster known as “Hollows.” New Eridu, the last urban civilization that survived the apocalypse, manages to thrive by acquiring the technology to extract essential resources out of the Hollows. Players will embark on an adventure as Proxies who cooperate with distinctive Agents and unveil the unknown mysteries behind New Eridu and the Hollows.”
Zenless Zone Zero is expected to release sometime in 2024 for PC, iOS, Android, and now PS5.
