Transcend has added yet another product to their line of portable hard drives with the announcement of the StoreJet 25C3S.
The new portable hard drive features an ultra slim aluminum alloy housing measuring only 114.5 x 78.5 x 9.95mm and weighs just 133 grams. According to Transcend, the silver housing has been polished, sandblasted, and anodized giving it a sleek look. The edges of the housing are also bevelled and shined, making it look even sleeker.
It features a USB Type-C port utilizing USB 3.1 Gen 1 and comes with both a USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable or USB Type-C to USB Type-C cables. The StoreJet 25C3S also works with Transcend’s Elite and RecoveRx tools for advanced data management and data recovery, respectively. Both tools are free to download from the company’s website.
The StoreJet 25C3S comes in 1TB and 2TB storage capacities and comes with Transcend’s 3-year limited warranty. No information on pricing and availability have been released yet.
