Square Enix and Bandai Namco have officially unveiled Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the latest installment of the long-running Tomb Raider franchise and the sequel to 2015’s Rise of the Tomb Raider.
According to Square Enix, Shadow of the Tomb Raider will force Lara to “master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour as she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse.”
The new game is being developed by Eidos-Montreal and Crystal Dynamics and will be published by Bandai Namco in Southeast Asia on behalf of Square Enix. Camilla Luddington reprises her role once again to bring Lara Croft to life in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Those who pre-order the Croft and Ultimate Editions of the game from select retailers in Southeast Asia will get early access to the game. Digital pre-orders will be available starting May 1, 2018.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is set for release on September 14, 2018, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
