Samsung has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone series, the Galaxy S24. Like last year, the new lineup consists of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, with Galaxy AI being the big new addition to the flagship series.

Galaxy AI is one of the main attractions of the new Galaxy S24 series. The suite of features that Galaxy AI offers include Circle to Search, AI-powered transcriptions, real-time voice call and message translations, AI photography with Samsung’s new ProVisual Engine, AI-powered
photo editing, and more.
The specs of the Galaxy S24 series have also gotten upgrades, especially to their displays and batteries. The Galaxy S24 now has a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display (from last year’s 6.1-inch) while the Galaxy S24+ features a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ screen (from 6.6-inch). Lastly, the Galaxy S24 has retained the same display size but its screen as well as the screens of the Galaxy S24 and S24+ are now much brighter with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.
The battery of the Galaxy S24 has also been upgraded to 4,000 mAh from 3,900 mAh while the Galaxy S24+ has gone from 4,700 mAh to 4,900 mAh. The Galaxy S24 Ultra has retained its 5,000 mAh battery from last year.
Both the Galaxy S24 and S24+ are now powered by Samsung’s new Exynos 2400 processor while the Galaxy S24 Ultra has the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor at its core. The Galaxy S24 is also equipped with 8GB of RAM while the other two models have 12GB of RAM.
As for their cameras, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ feature a 50-megapixel wide-angle main camera, a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto camera, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide. On the other hand, the Galaxy S24 Ultra replaces the 50MP wide-angle camera with a 200-megapixel sensor and adds a 50-megapixel 5x telephoto. All three models come with a 12-megapixel selfie camera.
As for storage, the Galaxy S24 is available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB variants; the S24+ is available in 256GB and 512GB models; and the S24 Ultra will have 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.
Lastly, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a few extra features, including a titanium outer frame and the new Corning Gorilla Armor for better durability.
