OPPO Launches A76 Mid-Range Smartphone in the Philippines

OPPO has launched the latest entry in its A series of smartphones, the OPPO A76, in the Philippines. The A76, which the company is targeting towards mobile gamers, features the company’s OPPO Glow rear glass design that’s coupled with a 6.56-inch punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate.

“The A Series continues to be the favorite device of mobile gamers in the Philippines. As we introduce OPPO A76, we highlight our commitment to providing value for money devices that deliver an effortless experience not just for gaming, but also for productivity,” said Chiqui Tapawan, OPPO Philippines Head of Marketing Communications.

The A76 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 CPU and either 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also supports microSDs up to 1TB and the company’s RAM Expansion feature that converts some of the device’s storage to virtual RAM.

The new device is also equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports OPPO’s 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. Some of the other battery features of the A76 include Super Power Saving Mode, Super Nighttime Standby, and Optimized Night Charging.

Lastly, the A76 runs OPPO’s ColorOS 11.1, which includes features such as Bullet Screen Message, FlexDrop, Three-finger Translate, System Booster, and Link Boost 2.0.

The OPPO A76 is now available via OPPO’s Brand Stores and partner retailers nationwide as well as through Shopee and Lazada at an SRP of PHP 11,999.
