NieR Re[in]carnation Release Date Announced, Opening Cinematic Revealed

The release date of NieR Re[in]carnation, the first mobile title in the series, has been announced. Publisher Square Enix revealed that the game’s North American, European, and Korean versions will be available for both iOS and Android on July 28, 2021. Along with the announcement, Square Enix also released the game’s opening cinematic.

The new mobile gacha game is developed by an all-star team including series creator and creative director YOKO TARO, composer Keiichi Okabe from MONACA, and producer Yosuke Saito, and has already surpassed 400,000 pre-registrations.

Reaching the 400,000 pre-registration milestone has unlocked rewards for players when the game launches. There are additional rewards to be unlocked once the pre-registrations reach 500,000 and 600,000 players. Notably, once the final 600,000 pre-registration milestone is reached, players will have enough games to perform 15 summons for free along with materials needed to enhance the game’s characters.

NieR Re[in]carnation will be available for iOS and Android on July 28, 2021. People can pre-register for the game through the App Store and Google Play.
