The folks at Bethesda have released a new trailer for the upcoming Dishonored 2 which shows off just some of the possible ways the game’s protagonists, Emily and Corvo, can deal with guards that may be standing in their way.
Since the original Dishonored, the game’s supernatural abilities have always given players a large variety of ways to inflict murder or avoid detection by chaining multiple abilities and/or using some of them simultaneously. These possibilities can lead to some creative and unique kills that are definitely exciting to witness.
In the latest trailer for Dishonored 2, we see some of these abilities in action. The first of which is called Domino, which links targets together so what happens to one happens to the rest. Linking Domino with the next ability, Far Reach, lets you pull all the linked enemies into a Wall of Light for easy disintegration. You can also link these two abilities with Doppelganger, which summons a copy of yourself, for more options.
Other abilities shown off in the trailer include Emily’s previously revealed Shadow Walk as well as the Bloodfly Swarm ability, the Springrazor weapon, and some interesting uses for the Doppelganger. The trailer also shows off some of Corvo’s abilities including Blink Assault which is basically a quick dash and kick to throw people back and Bend Time which stops time for a short duration allowing for some cool sequences as shown in the trailer.
Dishonored 2 is scheduled for release on November 11, 2016, for the Playstation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
