MSI Unveils AMD X670 Motherboard Lineup

MSI has unveiled its new lineup of motherboards that support AMD’s new X670 chipset. The new lineup includes the MEG X670E GODLIKE, MEG X670E ACE, MPG X670E CARBON WIFI, and PRO X670-P WIFI.

The new MSI X670E motherboards include new features such as the M-Vision Dashboard, screw-less M.2 Shield Frozr heatsinks, a new smart button on the rear I/O panel, support for ARGB Gen2 devices, and more.

MSI’s MEG series motherboards, which come in an E-ATX formfactor, will feature up to 24+2 VRM phases with a 150A Smart Power Stage, a stacked fin array design heatsink and heatpipe, a MOSFET baseplate, a metal backplate, four M.2 slots (with one M.2 PCIe 5.0 x4 slot), and an M.2 XPANDER-Z GEN5 DUAL add-on card for two additional PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 slots.

As for the new MPG series motherboards, they will feature two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, four M.2 slots, 18+2 VRM power phases, an extended heatsink design, and more.

Finally, the new PRO series models will include a 14+2 Phase Duet Rail Power System and dual 8-pin CPU power connectors, one M.2 PCIe 5.0 x4 slot, 2.5G LAN, and WiFi 6E.

MSI plans to launch its new X670E and X670 motherboards sometime in the Fall of 2022.
