Logitech has announced the new G512 X TMR analog/mechanical gaming keyboard, a pretty interesting keyboard that is equipped with 39 hybrid TMR switch beds that are compatible with both conventional 3-pin/5-pin mechanical switches and analog switches that use TMR sensor tech.
The G512 X, which comes in 75 and 98-percent layouts, ships with nine Gateron KS-20 analog switches that are stored in a compartment at the rear of the keyboard case while the rest of the included switches are mechanical. For the 75-percent version, 39 of the 81 switch beds are Dual Swap so they support either TMR analog or mechanical switches while the rest of the switch beds are conventional mechanical switch beds.
TMR sensor technology coupled with analog switches allow you to set actuation points and map actions based on the depth of the keypress, allowing for additional customization. Logitech has also included set of five SAPP (Second Actuation Pressure Point) rings that you can install with the analog switches. The rings, which can also be stored on the keyboard, allow you to get some tactile feedback when you set a second trigger point for that key.
Some of the other features of the G512 X include True 8K performance (8K polling rate, 8K reporting rate, and 8K processing), two customizable dials/rotary knobs, and an RGB lightbar near the front of the keyboard that can be paired with a separately sold acrylic palm rest to amplify the lighting effect. The settings of the G512 X, including the configuration of the TMR analog switches, are all customizable in the G Hub app.

The Logitech G512 X is priced at PHP 11,995 for the 75-percent layout and PHP 12,995 for the 98-percent layout and will be available exclusively on Shopee and Lazada Official Stores, as well as through Logitech’s Authorized Retail Partners and Gaming Specialists nationwide.
