Honkai Impact 3rd developer and publisher HoYoverse has released a new documentary video titled “The Story Left Behind,” which gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the production of the game’s story and characters as well as glimpses of how development of the game started.
The documentary features several interviews with some of the people who work on the popular action game, including several of its writers, producers, designers, artists, and more. It’s pretty extensive, with a run time of over 40 minutes.
Even though HoYoverse is now known more for creating Genshin Impact, it was really Honkai Impact 3rd that helped the company grow from just seven people to over 200. Even though it was launched way back in 2016, the game still releases new content up to this day.
HoYoverse recently concluded the final chapter of the main story’s first volume and is already working on not only its afterword but also an entirely new story.
