Geek+Pop has announced that it is combining two of its events, the Philippine International Collectibles and Card Show (PICCS) and Resbak, into a single convention scheduled for May 23-24, 2026, at One Ayala, Makati City.
Philippine International Collectibles and Card Show (PICCS)
The Philippine International Collectibles and Card Show (PICCS) will feature booths and activities catering to tradable card and other tabletop games, including Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon TCG, Alpha Clash, One Piece Card Game, Disney Lorcana, and Cardfight!! Vanguard, Flesh & Blood, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Unmatched, Warhammer 40,000, and more. Apart from the booths, the convention floor will feature auctions, box breaks, pack wars, live raffles, and a Pokémon Hour dedicated to everything Pokémon. Several tournaments and side events for many of the featured games will also be held throughout the weekend.
Resbak
On the other hand, Resbak will feature tournaments for several fighting game titles, including Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Super Smash Bros., Granblue Fantasy Versus, and Invincible VS. There will also be side tournaments and other activities for other fighting game titles.
Geek+Pop will be bringing in a number of special guests to PICCS & Resbak, including performers and bands such as Tubero, as well as other guests that will be holding meet-and-greets and stage appearances throughout the event.
Participate in Convention Activities with CCEPlay
Some of the activities during both PICCS and Resbak will be powered by CCEPlay, a gamified engagement platform that also acts as a digital passport for events. Attendees will be able to participate and track their progress in booth activities as well as claim their freebies and join raffles using the platform. Apart from being used at conventions, CCEPlay also offers digital quests, surveys, and other online activities that users can participate in to obtain rewards.
