ASUS is celebrating their 30th anniversary this year and the company has announced three limited edition products to mark the occasion – the ZenBook Edition 30, ZenFone 6 Edition 30, and the Prime X299 Edition 30.
ZenBook Edition 30
The limited edition 13-inch ZenBook Edition 30 features a lid encased in Pearl White Italian leather and rose gold anodized diamond-cut edges and trim as well as the company’s 18-karat rose gold-plated 30th anniversary logo.
Like the rest of the new ZenBook line, the ZenBook Edition 30 also features the ScreenPad 2.0 secondary touch display, and all the new features that come with it.
The ZenBook Edition 30 is equipped with a 13-inch 1080p NanoEdge display, up to an Intel Core i7-8565U processor, up to an NVIDIA GeForce MX150, up to 16GB of DDR4 2133MHz RAM, up to 1TB of PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD storage.
ASUS is also including a suite of premium accessories with the ZenBook Edition 30 such as a Pearl White mouse, a leather-look box and mouse pad, as well as a genuine-leather sleeve.
ZenFone 6 Edition 30
ASUS has taken the recently announced ZenFone 6 and upgraded both its internal and design for the Edition 30 version. The design of the ZenFone 6 Edition 30 features a matte black body covered in an ergonomic 3D-curved glass panel. It also features an embossed Edition 30 logo on the back of the device.
Internally, the RAM and storage of the ZenFone 6 Edition 30 has been upgraded to 12GB and 512GB, respectively. The rest of the specifications remain similar to the standard ZenFone 6, including the notch-less 6.4-inch display protected by Gorilla Glass 6, Snapdragon 855 chipset, 48-megapixel main camera, 13-megapixel ultrawide secondary camera, and 5000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0.
Prime X299 Edition 30
Lastly, ASUS has announced the Prime X299 Edition 30, a special edition of its original Prime X299 motherboard for Intel Core X-series processors. It features a revamped design with a mix of white and metallic elements as well as a new onboard LiveDash OLED display.
The Prime X299 Edition 30 also features a new 16-stage power solution, three M.2 slots, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, 5G Aquantia Ethernet, Intel Gigabit LAN, and the latest Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. The X299 also works with the new Smart Control Console to display more information on the system.
Local pricing and availability for the three 30th anniversary products have yet to be announced but we should hear more information on them in the coming weeks or months.
