ASUS Launches Platinum Protection Warranty, Covers Accidental Damage

ASUS is starting out the new decade strong with the launch of their new Platinum Protection Warranty (PPW). The new service adds one (1) year of what the company calls the Local Accidental Damage Package (LADP) to its already extensive warranty package, which also includes the standard 2-year global warranty as well as ASUS/ROG Premium Care. The PPW and LADP covers accidental damage including drops, falls or other collisions, liquid and electrical damage, and acts of nature such as earthquakes floods, and typhoons.

All ASUS, ROG, and ExpertBook laptops purchased from January 1, 2020, onwards are eligible for the ASUS PPW and can be claimed once during the one year of coverage. For laptops that are covered by the PPW, the company will shoulder 100% of the labor cost and 80% of the part replacement cost. The PPW can be availed at any of the company’s 99 authorized service partners across 60 cities all over the Philippines. A complete list of ASUS authorized service partners can be found on the official ASUS Philippine website.

“2019 was a BIG year for ASUS, and more so for ASUS Philippines. Year after year, we launch innovative products and introduce exciting promos for our end-users, and now, as we welcome a new decade, we focus our first efforts of 2020 towards launching a new after-sales service that will help all our new ASUS users enjoy and have a worry-free experience with their laptops. With the ASUS Platinum Protection Warranty, we assure our fans that we will be with them every step of the way,” closes Mr. Lenny Lin, ASUS Philippines Business Development Manager for Gaming PC.
