ASUS Announces Z490 Series Motherboards for Intel 10th Generation CPUs

ASUS has unveiled their lineup of Z490 motherboards for Intel‘s new 10th generation Core processors. The new lineup includes the new ROG Maximus, ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, Prime, and ProArt models to cater to every kind of user and need.

ROG Maximus XII

     

The top-end of the company’s new Z490 lineup are the enthusiast-level ROG Maximus XII motherboards, which include the ROG Maximus XII Extreme, ROG Maximus XII Formula, ROG Maximus XII Hero (Wi-Fi), and ROG Maximus XII Apex. The boards, which range from EATX to ATX form factors, include features such as 16 power phases, OptiMem III technology, support for up to 128GB of 4800MHz+ memory, Intel Wi-Fi 6, up to 10Gb Ethernet, and more.

ROG Strix

ASUS also announced a whopping seven different Z490 variants under its ROG Strix brand, providing an option for any serious gamer. There’s the ATX-sized ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming, ROG Strix Z490-A Gaming, ROG Strix Z490-F Gaming, and ROG Strix Z490-H Gaming. Then there’s the slightly smaller mATX boards including the ROG Strix Z490-G Gaming (Wi-Fi), ROG Strix Z490-G Gaming. Lastly, there’s the ROG Strix Z490-I Gaming mini ITX board for those with super compact builds.

Both ATX boards feature 12+2 DrMOS power phases, VRM and M.2 heatsinks, Intel Gigabit Ethernet, dual M.2 SSD slots, support for up to 128GB of 4600MHz+ memory, OptiMem II technology, and more.

Prime and ProArt

For professionals and casual users, ASUS also announced the Prime Z490-A, Prime Z490-P, and Prime Z490M-Plus. Lastly, the company also announced the ProArt Z490-Creator 10G for creative professionals, which features dual Thunderbolt 3 ports, dual M2. slots, and 10Gb Ethernet.
