ASUS Announces 3 New 180Hz TUF Gaming Monitors

ASUS has announced three new TUF Gaming monitors that boast a refresh rate of 180 Hz. The new models — TUF Gaming VG27AQ3A, TUF Gaming VG279Q3A, TUF Gaming VG249Q3A — give consumers more options for gaming, content creation, and more.

The new TUF Gaming monitors support up to 180Hz via DisplayPort 1.2 while console gamers can use the monitor via HDMI 2.0 up to 144Hz at 2K resolution. They’re also equipped with IPS panels so they can be expected to feature decent color performance.

The most expensive of the three new models, the TUF Gaming VG27 features a 27-inch 2K QHD (2560 x 1440) display, a 130% sRGB color gamut, and support for HDR10. It supports FreeSync Premium, NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, and VESA AdaptiveSync technologies.

The TUF Gaming VG279Q3A comes with a 27-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) panel and a 99% sRGB color gamut.  It supports FreeSync Premium, NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, and VESA AdaptiveSync technologies.

Lastly, the TUF Gaming VG249Q3A is a 24-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) monitor with a 99% sRGB color gamut. It supports FreeSync Premium.

Other features of the three new monitors include ASUS Variable Overdrive technology, 1ms response time, support for ASUS GamePlus and GameVisual software, ASUS ELMB SYNC, Shadow Boost, and Flicker-Free Technology.

The ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ3A is priced at PHP 17,840 while the TUF Gaming VG279Q3A and VG249Q3A are priced at PHP 13,870 and PHP 10,790, respectively.
