Take-Two Interactive and 2K Sports announced today that, WWE 2k14, the first WWE game since the publishers acquired the license from THQ will be released on Oct. 29, 2013. Take-Two and World Wrestling Entertainment signed a five-year licensing agreement last February and development of the series will still be handled by Yuke’s, the Japanese studio behind THQ’s WWE games, and Visual Concets.
The game was initially called WWE ’14 following THQ’s original naming scheme but it’s apparently been changed to the new name seen today.
The new entry into the series will be released on the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3.
