Red Dead Online has been officially announced by Rockstar Games. Much like Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, Red Dead Online will the online multiplayer component for the the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2.
Red Dead Online will utilize the world and gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2 and will feature a mix of narrative, competitive, and cooperative content for friends to experience together. It will also feature regular updates and adjustments.
Rockstar has noted that the launch of the public beta for Red Dead Online will inevitably experience some issues but the developers are looking forward to working with the community to help develop the Red Dead Online experience.
A public beta for Red Dead Online is scheduled for launch on November 2018 and will be free to access for anyone with a copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 for either the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is scheduled for release on October 26, 2018, for the PS4 and Xbox One.
