PLDT has announced that it has completed the roll-out of its Fibr in all residential condominium in Rockwell Center in Makati City including the Rizal Tower, Luna Gardens, Hidalgo Place, Amorsolo Towers, Edades Garden Villas and Towers, Joya Lofts and Towers, One Rockwell, and The Manansala.
“With PLDT HOME Fibr, Rockwell Center residents will now be able to seamlessly download files, log-in to their social media accounts, stream their favorite movies, play online games, and a lot more on the multiple screens they use at home. This is in line with our efforts to take the lead in bringing world-class internet to more Filipinos through the deployment of fiber facilities in more and more parts of the country,” said PLDT FVP and Head of Home Business Marco Borlongan.

This latest development is part of PLDT’s ongoing nationwide roll-out of its PLDT Fibr service. PLDT plans to expand its coverage to about four million homes by the end of 2017. The company is also deploying its hybrid fiber technologies, such as Huawei’s G.fast technology, which can boost data speeds up to 600-700 Mbps over copper lines.
