ESGS 2018: AOC Showcases Latest Line of Gaming Monitors

AOC showed off some of its latest gaming monitors at the 2018 Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit last weekend, which includes its latest high-definition 144Hz flat and curved gaming monitors.

Leading the pack is the C24G1, that’s part of the company’s flagship G1 series of gaming monitors. It features a 24-inch curved display with a 1500r curvature, 1080p resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and support for AMD FreeSync. The VA panel on the C24G1 is capable of a contrast ratio of 3000:1, a brightness of 250cd/m2, and 8-bit color support. It is equipped with one DisplayPort 1.2, two HDMI 1.4 ports, one VGA port, and one 3.5mm headphone jack.

Next is the G2590PX, which is slightly larger flat panel monitor than the C24G1. Instead of a VA panel, like the C24G1, the G2590PX uses a TN panel that’s also capable of 1080p resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 1m response time, and works with AMD FreeSync. It also features a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, a brightness of 400cd/m2, and 8-bit color support. It comes with two 2W speakers, four USB 3.0 ports, two HDMI 1.4 ports, a DisplayPort 1.2, and a VGA port.

The other two monitors AOC featured include the C24B1H and the 22B1HS, both of which are targeted at consumers with a more limited budget. The C24B1H features a 1500r curved panel, 1080p resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, 4ms response time, a contrast ratio of 3000:1, a brightness of 250cd/m2, an HDMI port, and a VGA port. As for the 22B1HS, it comes with a 21.5-inch panel with the same resolution, refresh rate, and brightness as the C24B1H but with a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a response time of 5ms. It also comes with an HDMI port, a D-Sub port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The top-end AOC C24G1 and G2590PX gaming monitors are currently priced at PHP 16,596 and PHP 16,236, respectively, while the more affordable C24B1H and 22B1HS have SRPs of PHP 9,312 and PHP 5,568, respectively.

AOC also introduced its current line-up of influencers that will be representing both AOC and its AGON sub-brand. These include Ira James, Vince Zen, Kang Dupet, Alvin Pacheco, and a few others.
