On average, the speed and reliability of internet connections in the Philippines leave a lot to be desired. But that’s slowly starting to change as PLDT continuously expands the availability of its Fibr brand of high-speed fiber-optic internet service giving more and more people the chance to experience world-class internet speeds of up to 1Gbps. Fibr is undoubtedly the most sought after internet service in the Philippines right now, especially for gamers. And today, PLDT has made its Fibr service even more attractive announcing a partnership with Sony Philippines to bring the Playstation 4 to its Fibr subscribers.
When you sign up for a new Fibr plan, you’ll have the option to bundle your plan with a Playstation 4 at an additional cost of only P749 per month over your Fibr plan’s monthly bill for a period of 36 months. If you’d like to get Uncharted 4 included in your bundle as well, you’ll need to add an additional P100 to the Playstation 4 bundle cost bringing it up to an additional monthly cost of P849 over your monthly Fibr bill for the same 36-month period. It must be noted though that if you do decide to get Uncharted 4 bundled with your plan as well, you’ll receive your copy on or after the game launches on May 10, 2016. Existing Fibr subscribers may also upgrade their plans to include the Playstation 4 bundle.

PLDT currently has three Fibr plans available for its customers – Plan 1899 and Plan 2899, both of which have upload and download speeds of up to 50Mbps but the cheaper 1899 is capped at 80GB per month.
