ASUS is starting off the new year strong with the launch of the ZenFone Max Plus in the Philippines, the latest in the ZenFone Max line and the company’s first smartphone to feature an 18:9 full view FHD+ IPS display.

The ZenFone Max Plus features a metal body design with a 2.5D arc glass panel in front. The 5.7-inch full-view FHD+ IPSscreen features an ultrawide aspect ratio of 18:9 giving it a display resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.
Apart from the display, the ZenFone Max Plus is also the first ZenFone to feature Face Unlock, giving users an alternative option to quickly, securely, and conveniently unlock their device from the usual fingerprint sensor, which can be found on the rear of the ZenFone Max Plus.
Being part of the ZenFone Max line, the Max Plus comes with a large 4,130mAh battery that the company says gives he phone an estimated battery life of up to 26 hours of standby time. The device’s large display also allows the Max Plus to be used as a power bank to charge other devices.
The ZenFone Max Plus also features dual rear cameras that are composed of a 16-megapixel f/2.0 PixelMaster main camera and an 8-megapixel 120-degree wide-angle camera. On the front, the new device is equipped with a 16-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera.
Other features of the ZenFone Max Plus include a MediaTek MT6750T 1.5GHz octa-core processor, a Mali T860 graphics chip, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. It is available in three color options including Deepsea Black, Sunlight Gold, and Azure Silver, and is priced at Php 11,995.00.
